Crystal flower is the new fragrance of the house of Lalique and it has recently arrives on the shelves of numerous perfumeries. We announced this jubilant edition back in October 2010. It was created in honor of the 150th anniversary of master of glass art, Rene Lalique's birth.
He was born in 1860 in Champagne and he designed and created since he was child. When he was very young he started working in jewelry store and he studied at the School of Fine Arts. In 1900 he quit creating jewelry since he was tired of forging, so he started working with glass.

Fascinated by his talent, perfumer Francoise Coty proposed to him collaboration on a perfume flacon which would be a master-piece decorated with ornament sin service of perfumery. This stile was later noticed by Roger&Gallet, Houbigant, Molyneux, d'Orsay, Molinard and Worth, who were very interested in his work and wanted him to design bottles for their perfumes, as well.
Rene Lalique is a man whose work is very closely related to perfumery, but he did not have a chance to create any perfume under his own name, unfortunately. His granddaughter Marie-Claude in purpose of honoring and celebrating the artist, presented in 1992 the first perfume under the name of the house of Lalique. The perfume overshadows many perfume editions with its composition and quality. (Perfumer - Sophia Grojsman).

Since the first edition up till today, Lalique has incorporated numerous noteworthy perfume compositions accompanied by beautiful flacons which were often inspired and designed on the basis of famous Rene's works. The new edition represents contemporary perfumery perfectly and is closely connected with tradition and quality of previous creations.
Fleur de Cristal skillfully transfers the scent of a luxury crystal creation and memorable composition which is clean, light and luminous. This union of citrusy-sweet lily of the valley blends with aromas of stefanotis and sambac jasmine by making a feminine, fine, wearable, white bouquet.
The entire composition is fresh, white, luminous and clear. Top notes bring us Calabrian bergamot, pink pepper and sambac jasmine providing an elegant and barely noticeable powdery impression. Tartness of the citrusy-floral opening is enhanced with a white floral heart composed of lily of the valley, stefanotis and solar flowers shining like rays of light on the surface of crystal, while a base is sophisticated, sensual and unobtrusive, composed of precious wood, sandalwood and musk.

Women looking for a white fragrance with lady-like and elegant undertone which is luminous and vibrant should choose Fleur de Cristal. The fragrance is strong enough, just like its aura that lingers. It can last up to 6-8 hours.
Creator of the perfume is Raphael Haury who had an aim to represent with this fragrance the style of Rene Lalique – timeless and fashionable.

Besides the luminous white, solar composition, the true task was to create a flacon that would push the boundaries in creating modern perfume flacons. The task was given to masters of glass art from the company Wingen-Sur-Moder. The technique used in creating new flacons for Fleur de Cristal revives the particular creation manner from the time of Rene Laliquea - The Lost Wax technique (Cire Perdue).
By this special and demanding technique the limited and luxurious flacon was create. It has unique texture in 12 pieces which imitate flowers of lily of the valley. These 12 flacons hide perfume extract of Fleur de Cristal.

Besides this perfume extract flacon, Crystal Flacon was presented, as a flacon made of blown glass with a gorgeous stopper decorated with branches and lily of the valley flowers. The flacon is available in limited number and enumerated.
The third flacon by Lalique is reserved for EDP and available in two sizes. Simplicity reflects in luminous glass figure which carries the scent of elegance and cleanliness. The fragrance in these flacons is available as 50 and 100ml EDP. In Fleur de Cristal collection, Lalique also presents 200 ml luxurious perfumed body cream.

Advertising campaign Fleur de Cristal was presented in black and white version and is very elegant and romantic. Rene Lalique always admired women and they were eternal inspiration and the campaign was formed in that spirit. The fragrance appeared on the market in 2010.
