Menggunakan parfum atau wangi-wangian merupakan salah satu kebiasaan Rasulullah SAW. Mencontoh kebiasaan beliau yang satu ini termasuk ibadah. Parfum, selain menghilangkan bau badan, sangat bermanfaat bagi perkembangan otak. Namun ada hal-hal yang perlu diperhatikan sebelum Anda menggunakan parfum.
Parfum Beralkohol
Saat ini banyak beredar parfum tanpa alkohol dan parfum beralkohol. Bagaimanakah hukumnya parfum beralkohol ini? Ketika Habib Munzir bin Fuad al-Musawa ditanya mengenai hal ini, beliau menjawab bahwa dalam hal ini terdapat ikhtilaf di kalangan ulama. Sebagian berpendapat wewangian yang mengandung alkohol itu najis. Namun pendapat lain mengatakan bahwa alkohol untuk parfum itu suci karena bukan dibuat dengan tujuan untuk arak, sebagaimana cuka yang proses pembuatannya sama dengan proses pembuatan alkohol. Proses pembuatan alkohol adalah buah-buahan dipendam hingga berubah menjadi basi dan asam hingga bertambah menjadi dua kali lipat banyaknya, lalu kemudian akan kembali berkurang dan kembali ke jumlah asalnya, maka proses bertambahnya hingga memuncak, hingga kembali berkurang, itulah arak yang memabukkan, dan bila ia telah kembali pada jumlah semula maka itulah cuka, tidak lagi memabukkan.
Seseorang yang membuat cuka, namun cukanya belum masak dan masih berupa arak, cukanya tidaklah najis, karena dibuat bukan untuk arak, walaupun ia menjadi arak. Seseorang yang membuat arak namun terlalu lama memprosesnya hingga telah menjadi cuka, maka cukanya itu najis hukumnya karena ia membuatnya bukan untuk cuka tetapi untuk arak.
Mengenai pendapat yang menganggap tidak najisnya minyak wangi yang beralkohol, maka mereka menganggap bahwa alkohol itu dibuat bukan untuk diminum, tetapi pabrik memang membuatnya untuk campuran minyak wangi, bukan untuk arak yang dikonsumsi para pemabuk.
Pendapat yang menganggapnya najis, beranggapan bahwa alkohol yang dicampurkan dengan minyak wangi itu juga digunakan untuk minuman keras, dan jelas-jelas pabrik pembuatnya tidak berniat membuatnya untuk menjadi cuka. [1]
Pada haqiqatnya, alkohol yang dibuat untuk parfum itu tidak najis, karena tidak memabukkan. Jika kita meminumnya maka akan mematikan, ia adalah racun dan bukan alat untuk memabukkan. Namun Habib Umar Al-Hafizh, dengan maksud ihtiyath (menjaga diri dari yang syubhat), mengatakan bahwa minyak wangi yang bercampurkan alkohol itu boleh digunakan selama kandungan alkoholnya tidak mencapai 50%. Namun Habib Munzir pernah melihat Habib Umar ketika di suatu acara maulid saat qiyam, dan diberi spray minyak wangi, beliau tak menolaknya, dan tetap shalat isya dengan pakaian yang bekas diberi spray minyak wangi beralkohol tersebut. Padahal jika hal itu najis, maka tidak sah shalatnya. [2]
Alkohol dalam Obat Batuk dan Tisu Pembersih
Mengenai obat batuk beralkohol, hal itu haram dikonsumsi. Karena memang dapat memabukkan. Adapun tisu pembersih leher botol galon air mineral, alkohol yang digunakan adalah untuk mematikan bakteri. Itu tidaklah najis.

Wanita itu haram menggunakan parfum jika parfum yang digunakan itu menarik perhatian kaum pria yang bukan muhrimnya. Jika ia gunakan sedikit atau banyak, atau demi menghilangkan bau badan atau dengan maksud lainnya, maka selama tak menarik perhatian pria dan tidak berbau tajam hingga menyolok pada pria yang bukan muhrimnya, maka hal itu diperbolehkan

Coty Prestige and Jennifer Lopez are presenting a new fragrance named Blue Glow by JLO which arrives on the market in February 2009. The fragrance arrives in a flacon shaped just like Glow by JLO but coloured in ocean blue nuances and decorated with fine jewelry.
Fragrance Deseo by Jennifer Lopez is inspired by her garden. She invited her associates from Coty to walk at night through her beautiful kingdom and capture the divine smell into a uncut diamond like shaped bottle.
Deseo for Men by Jennifer Lopez is a Woody Aromatic fragrance for men. Deseo for Men was launched in 2008. Deseo for Men was created by Ellen Molner and Jim Krivda.
